It Takes a Village, but Will There Always Be One? The Story of Matteo

Government aid to refugees goes only so far: what role do private citizens play in helping these vulnerable individuals transition to life in a strange land? Echoing similar stories heard from around the globe, this project explores the "village" that emerged out of the ranks of ordinary people to rally around one man, Matteo, as he embarked on a new life in the United States.
